Jungle apocalypse
Konnichiwa! Today I went for a short hike in the jungle, here it goes:I walked all the way from home, it's just a couple of kilometres but only steep uphill so it was still pretty tough. It seemed I had chosen a good day for walking since the weather was cloudy (but still extremely hot). After about 30 minutes I were very close to the lush jungle. I just love that kind of view, the dense, green and lush jungle. I think what I really enjoy about being the in the jungle or at least watching it, is that it looks like the earth is healthy. In these places the earth is really growing and flourish the way it wants to. After gazing out over the beautiful greeness I entered...My god! The jungle was super dense and a bit scary. I have been to other jungles before (Amazonas for example) and it's actually a bit freaky to walk in the jungle since there's a lot (a lot!) of bugs everywhere. It was steep uphill but we kept walking and walking - surrounded by density. So sweaty, it felt like a had taken a shower. After some time we got out of the jungle which was nice. I think it looks a bit like an apocalypse when the jungle is "taking over" buildings and stuff. Here there's a lot of concrete buildings and with the combination of the lush vegetation, it really looks cool.
