THE WEEKEND.
On Friday I had babysitting with a new family! Always a bit nervous meeting a new family, not knowing if you'll get along or what the kids are going to be like, how they're gonna handle a new adult looking after them. This time it went super well, little one was super cute and well behaved. After they'd given me the tour of their apartment he happily went up to the front door, opened it and said "bye mummy, bye bye daddy", haha! Vote of confidence right there. The view was pretty impressive as well, that's the presidential palace there on the left. And Grand Palais up the road! After I put the little one to bed (after dinner he got down from his chair and proceeded to show me where his PJs and toothbrush were, then he wanted to read me a story and didn't say peep when I put him to bed and said goodnight. Not every day you get a 2 year old who's that easy!!) I wandered around their apartment for a while, got stuck by this Disney-esque mirror for a while. So pretty. On Saturday I was at another place with an amazing view! But we weren't there for balcony hang, we were there to work! Music video coming soon guys!! Saturday night was spent at home, with Duncan! We don't get many night off together these days, so it was well appreciated. Watched movies, ate burgers, drank wine. On Sunday Linda, Thomas and I were back in the garage! It's a wrap! Celebrated with white wine, chats and this view. Paris by night, mmmmm. When we were all out of wine I hurried over to the moose for dinner, didn't realise how hungry I was until I put my teeth in this chicken burger. Bite, bite, bite and it was gone. Rory was there, ready with cuddles. ❤ Hung out with Kat and Chris, dressed up like an American and laughed more than I have in a while. Really good weekend. Today is Valborg for all us Swedes, I'm grabbing my fellow Swedish roomie by the paw tonight and heading out to the University to celebrate the arrival of spring around a bonfire! Should be fun 🔥🌙
