MAY READING.
First comes love, by Emily Giffin Not much to say about this book really, except for that after The handmaids tale I felt that I needed something easy breezy. This did deal with some dark subjects, but was still a very easy and quick read. I enjoyed it, but probably won't remember it in a year.. Inatt är du död, or Tonight you're dead, by Viveca Sten A new favourite author for me in the Swedish crime genre! As you probably know by now, that is pretty much my favourite genre as well. Every book in this series takes place in Stockholm's archipelago, a summer paradise which sets a great backdrop for the murders in her books. This is the second one by her that I've read, and I'm on my third right now! Apparently this has been made in to a series as well, but I'm slightly more sceptical to that.. De Ensamma, or The Lonely Ones, by Håkan Nesser Probably the least eventful book by Håkan Nesser that I've read (he's a huge name in Swedish crime), but it still kept me hooked for the almost 600 pages. A story about a group of six friends, two of whom die in the exact same spot, but 35 years apart. What happened? Is there even a crime to investigate? The story jumps in between the mid 70s and 2010, we get to know the characters and start to understand that there must be something more there. A great read! What have you guys read lately??
