LA BOISSONERIE.

2019-03-11

On Saturday night mum and I got ready to head out on the town for the evening. I wore a new loose fitting, black embroidered top. Love this style of tops. Love it even more when it's 3 euros in a vintage shop!

Our first stop was Moose to pick up Duncan and have a pre dinner drink. Mum was sad.

Nah, just kidding! She was in good spirits.

One whiskey sour and one glass of dry white wine, please.

We were headed to Fish!

We got little fish broth-cups to start, may not look like much to the world but it was SO NICE. Very promising start.

Ceviche, mmmmmmmmmmmm.

IMG_3995

Buffalo mozzarella with the best pesto I've possibly ever had.

IMG_3996

To be had with crisp, white wine of course.

Seared scallops with creamy polenta. I've never understood the deal with polenta, but this was just... magical. I've definitely been convinced that it can be absolutely delicious.

We finished with cheese, dessert and port. An amazing meal from start to finish.

Mom and I discussed big things. ❤

Walked to the metro over Pont Neuf. Stopped for hugs, photos and giggles.

So grateful for nights like these.
