AN AFTERNOON IN CUDILLERO.
This late August Tuesday started with a trip to the nearby beach, Frejulfe. The water was icy cold (refreshing if we're staying up beat about it, which we did! Yay us) and the dark sand scorching hot. A pretty perfect start to any day. The second part of our day was reserved for the town of Cudillero. After a 35 minute drive we pulled up in what looked like a once bustling but now very sleepy town. Lots of beautiful buildings that weren't being kept up and no people to be seen. Soon things started to look a bit more lively though, we crossed all fingers that we would be able to find somewhere for late lunch. We did! Down by the harbour it was positively bustling! Tres cañas por favor :))) Pimientos de padron, one of my all time faves, mmmmm Chopitos, YES PLEASE That along with a sharing plate of chicken & croquetas and some patatas bravas made for three extremely content campers. Lots of MMMM have you tasted this one??? going on. We drove back to our apartment in Puerto de Vega under dark clouds, but now the sun has come out again :) A lovely Tuesday in Spain <3
