A SATURDAY IN HELL WITH MEAT, FRED DURST AND SHOTS AT METAL CORNER.
Saturday at Hellfest started with a wander around Hell city square! Duncan bought a Motörhead-pin for his hat and asked me to take a photo to check if it was on straight and centered :)) Next up: The argentinian meat platter!!!! I was extremely excited about this. I discovered it last year, then re-discovered it at Download this year - where I had it three days out of four, haha. In my happy place <3 Most of Saturday was spent hanging out around the campground for us. Most of the gang had gone in to town for their annual restaurant lunch and poor Guillaume had to drive all the way back to Paris for a work engagement (he came back the next day), so it was just us two pretty much all day :) Then when the sun had gone down it was time for Limp Bizkit :D They did most of the classics (rollin', nookie, break stuff) mixed up with a lot of random covers. Not to everyones liking but I thought it was fun!! Fred Durst screaming out George Michael's Faith isn't something you hear every day! After that we hurried over to the other main stage... For Avenged Sevenfold! Unfortunately they had this random guy sing a bunch and it was all round underwhelming. Sad. So we headed off again, through Hell city square... And to metal corner, where DJ Mike Rock was playing :D There were gold painted dancers, jäger shots, a mosh pit and LOTS of other fun stuff. Great way to end a Saturday in hell :D Look under his left arm, hehe. Always front row... :))) Today the temperature has sunk with a couple of degrees in Paris, I for one am extremely grateful. Might even celebrate by walking to work for the first time in maybe a month?! Anyway, hope you have a lovely Monday, more festival stuff to come very soon!
