Vegan Flying Jacob I Vegan Ch*cken dish
Heya guys! Today I am back with yet another recipe - this time vegan flying Jacob. This is a Swedish dish (with a funny name I know), that normally has chicken and cream in it. Both of these things can be easily switched for the vegan version - that is better for you, the environment, and most importantly - the chicken. Here´s what you will need:320 grams of vegan chicken (I used Hälsans kök filébitar, tips for my fellow swedes)250 ml of Vegan cream (I used Oatly)1 dl of Ketchup/tomato paste (or half and half of both)A splash of chili sauce1 or 2 bananasPeanutsSalt and PepperStart by mixing together the cooking cream, tomato paste and chili sauce + salt and pepper. Then add your vegan chicken to an oven proof pan, pour over the sauce, and put sliced banana and peanuts on top. Put into the oven on 200 degrees celsius for 15 - 20 minutes, and voila, all done! This is such a simple recipe, and so yummy! Serve it with rice and a nice sallad, and you have a splendid meal ;) Really recommend you to try this out!Hope you enjoyed! See you soon.xx
