My 4th time in Sydney, this time the shortest stay ever, only 2,5weeks. I’m spending most of the time in my favorite part of Sydney, the eastern suburbs. Here are some tips when going to Sydney, my fave city in the world 🙏 Yes you heard right, fave city, enjoy! BONDI BEACH Tottis - new Italian restaurant -Bondi road Shuk - breakfast place Bucket list - bar along the boardwalk of Bondi beach (love the vibe, especially weekends!) Public bar - recently opened, cool place to be The Icebergs - a swim in the pool, a drink, lunch or dinner, yes it’s a must :) Hotel Ravesis - drinks with a view XS coffee - all meals are yummie, love the big açaí bowls with a soy cappuccino, YES Bills - breakfast & dinner - great place with indoor and outdoor seating. There’s one in Surry hills too. The shop - cafe/bar Bondi fish - North Bondi beach, great views Panama house - South American food/bar North Bondi RSL, above Bondi fish - more relaxed scene with great views. Messina & Anita - the best gelato shops. The Anita gelato shop also in Bondi Junction (perfect break while shopping!) OTHER AREAS/PLACESBar patron - super nice/tad fancy bar/restaurant in Circular Quay (close to the Opera house) The grounds of Alexandria - a created little area full of cafes and restaurants- worth checking out. Often themed, check their Instagram before going. Super busy over the weekend. The Boathouse - it’s a chain of restaurants - beautifuL - great food. Love love love this. The butler - Potts point area, I’ve never been but a friend recommended and said it’s a new beautiful fancy restaurant Coogee bay hotel - great for a roof top drink The Cosmopolitan - dinner/coffee in Double bay The Robin Hood hotel - Bronte - if you’re looking for a classic Aussie pub with live music, pool tables and cheap beers :) Opera bar, outdoor/indoor bar with view of the Opera house and harbour bridge. Love this place! 360 Bar and Dining - a restaurant that turn 360 degrees while eating and with a view over the cityThe ivy pool bar, party! Haven’t been lately but was great yeeeears back. BEACHES Bondi -of course Coogee Watson’s bay Camp cove, cute beach, less tourists Nielsen’s park, kids friendly Rose bay, dog friendly Manly beach (I prefer Bondi)Shelly beach (amazing in Manly!) On the way you’ll see a natural pool in the water called Fairy Bower Pool and don’t miss The boat house, perfect for lunch/drinks (this is a must) Secret coves/beaches- Redleaf - Lady Martins Beach- Milk beach- Mackenzies bay beach - Kutti beach, Vaucluse - Gordon’s bay, near Coogee It’s really nice to grab a coffee at Watson’s bay tea garden cafe and walk up the Watson’s bay coast (different beaches). After a couple of hours at Camp cove for ex visit Watson’s bay boutique for lunch. TO SEE/DO Opera house Harbour bridge, walk over the bridge and take right and walk along the water. Great Sydney views Darling Harbour Bondi to Coogee, the best walk along the coast, this is a must! Stop @ all the cute coffee shops (all are good!) Ferry from Watson’s bay to the city or Manly beach, sunset is beautiful Royal Botanic garden If a horse race is on, book and go, cool experience If any Aussie games are on, book and go Paddington, just walk around Out door cinema, so many to choose from but the best is in the Botanic garden with view over the opera house, check for tickets in advance. Markets, many different ones on the weekends, google The rocks (market, dinner or just walk around)Walk around down town Sydney OUTSIDE SYDNEYHunter Valley, wine district 😍Blue mountains, a full dayNorthern beaches, nice to go and stay one night I can go on forever...
