Our love story - how we met

The way Anton and I met is a funny story. It was a Saturday in February, and there were a group of us that decided to get some drinks at this sports bar in Sherman Oaks called "The Woodman". At some point Joy said that she had a few friend that were joining us, and amongst those were Anton. I remember that night being one of those nights when everything just flows and we had such a fun time. While getting to know these new friends that joined us Anton and I quickly realized we had a lot in common, both being born in Russia, both moving to different countries at a young age and so on. The funniest thing that night is at the end, when we were all saying our goodbyes and heading home. Most of our friends called an Uber or drove home, but I was living just around the corner so I yelled out "I'm walking home!". Low and behold this guy Anton says the same thing. Turns out he was living in walking distance too. So we start walking... and we're walking towards the same direction.. then we find out that we're both living in the same apartment complex (!) and finally we realize that we live in the same building, on the SAME FLOOR down the hall from each other (!!!). If this isn't the universe present you with the person you are supposed to be with then I don't know what it is. Fast forward 6-7 months later. Anton was looking to move out of the room he was renting and decided to check out a bigger unit in the same complex we both were living in. So I went along with him to see the units the management had available. The leasing agent that was showing Anton the studio units obviously noticed that we were a couple, so she offer to show us a slightly different unit. One that was a big and spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom that they had for rent in a next door building. This apartment was gorgeous and we both had hearts in our eyes. So we went back home and Anton suggested it... why don't we move in together? Said and done, one week later we were living together.  Ever since we met things have been so natural and easy, and I think that is how it should be when you're with the right person. I am not saying that we don't have arguments or tiffs here and there (we do haha), but more so referring to the bigger picture and the important things. I cannot imagine my life without Anton in it and I am still a bit in chock that I now can call him MY HUSBAND! I love him so much.  I wish I had taken some more photos that night, but these are the ones I have. On the left is Anton with his two then coworkers Eunhye and Darren. And on the right is Jessica, Jesse and Eunhey. For some reason I don't have a photo of Joy, but she was there <3  I also know there is a video somewhere from that night of me attempting to complete a dare I got from playing that Jenga game, it was to "twerk" and let me tell you... I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to twerking lol.  These photos was from one of the bar crawls we did in the valley not long after Anton and I met. Missing everyone in these pictures <3  In May of that year we met Anton took me to New York for the first time. Who knew that 2 years after that photo was taken we would be moving cross country and actually living here now.
