Philosopher's road
This weekend we took a break from work and enjoyed Kyoto! The weather was warm and sunny so we decided to go to a place called "The Philosopher's road". It is a pathway next to the forest, up in the mountains, so beautiful. On our way there we made a lunch stop at our new favourite restaurant - an Indian place. The food is amazing! I had chicken tikka and naan bread. After we had filled up our energy we went to this place. I'm showing you some pictures so you can see for yourself. Many people were here that day and a few dressed in beautiful kimonos. At one place on the Philosopher's road, there were a lot of cats everywhere, so cute. Oh, I really miss my own cats so much when I see other animals. After the Philosopher's road we kept walking to the other side of the river. We did some shopping and had a coffee before we went back home again. In total we walked around 20 km.. Today we're just gonna work all day but tomorrow we might go to a place called Nara. In Nara there is a park filled with deers! So fun! Also, this week is going to be warm, around 18-20 degrees everyday Halleluja!Take care!xoxo The view from Philosopher's road Aw, look at the little tounge haha! So pretty, this is something we see everywhere in Kyoto. We walk here almost every day and it was fun to see a fisherman here. It's easy to understand why they're painting when the surroundings are so beautiful More people doing drawings Weirdly enough I don't get surprised when I see these girls anymore, they just fit in so well in Kyoto
