Changing Point!
Like I explained earlier I became RAW vegan more or less by accident. I’ve heard about it before, and thought hey, it sounds great…but uhm, it’s not for me. All though I loved my salads and greens, the idea of not eating any hot food, especially on a cold day didn’t sound appealing, I’m always cold anyway and way to comfortable. I honestly don’t like changes so much. What I know now is that becoming RAW or Vegan isn’t really something you can talk someone else into. They must be open for it. I mean I went from no, no, no to let’s try and now it’s OMG I should have been eating like this since birth. We all become Vegan for different reasons. Most vegans I talked to changed their diet because of their love and compassion for the animals! Boy, did I feel selfish haha. Yeah....right…the animals… Almost a year in to this lifestyle I’ve watched dozens of movies/documentaries and hundreds of YouTube videos about the dairy industry, the egg & chicken industry, how they produce hamburgers, sausages - you name it. And it’s sickening. It’s so bad. If you think that a lion killing a young zebra for food, who’s just been born and in front of its mother, is brutal, you need to learn more about the dairy industry and the story behind your glass of milk. Before and, to be honest, sometimes even now and then, I search on YouTube for videos. If I ever have cravings for animal products of some sort this is my best friend, I lose the craving pretty fast after that. You should try it! I became RAW Vegan over night, after I found reports and studies that suggested that, easily explained, mental health issue is not about your head – it’s about problems in your gut. I decided to try the RAW Vegan Lifestyle, because I’ve tried so much else. What did I have to lose, beside a few kg and gain a vitamin boost? The change has not been easy all the time, but it came so fast that I never looked back. The positive effects just increase in numbers for every month, and I can not praise this lifestyle enough. But it’s an experience that you must undergo yourself. It sounds to good to be true. People think I’m exaggerating or making things up, and I’m tired of sometimes have to defend my progress and positive benefits to people who have similar problems and also other physical problems who says theywant help but will just go home and chew bacon afterwards anyway. I will write about ALL the positive benefits that I’ve experienced so far in an upcoming post, but I’m looking forward hearing if you’re ready to take the next step, or maybe you're on this journey allready?! I can’t wait to learn more about your progress and the positive changes that you’ll be experiencing or allready encountered. New Years are around the corner! But you don't have to wait, to make a change in your life. Ask yourself this; What do I love more? The occasional kebab – or MYSELF?
