Vacanze Romane
When I got married, i didn't get the opportunity to have a bachelorette party so here we are 1.5 years later, party with my girls in Rome for Vacanze Romane (better late then never hehe ;) in the pictures, you can see my BFF Noussa, Sol and Miss S! My father's ancestors are from Italy so coming back to the roots to explore and learn more about how they lived felt really good. Rome is an amazing city, with beautiful architecture, loads of beautiful churches, fountains and so on but this trip was to a large extent also about my girls and the FOOD! Pizza for breakfast was a no brainier, the pasta was amazing, my mouth and stomach was in heaven during this trip :) The vibe in the city was really nice as well as the friendly folks all around. The tram and buses are really crowded so if you don't like crowdy transportation you have been warned before your next trip to Rome. Before the trip, we hired an apartment at Airbnb (click on the name for link) I can certainly recommend them. You can read people's review about apartments, find out more about the area the apartment is in, see pictures and also find out if the apartment really looks like the pictures and get the full gist before you decide to rent or not. The prices are really good and most i mportantly, you get your privacy. If you are lucky to have a good host like we did, whatever goes wrong would get fixed in a jiffy. For instance, we had some problems with a broken pressing iron and he went to buy a new one, how cool is that? Damn! I am getting hungry just by the sight of these dishes! Time to eat ;) Miss you Roma would love some of that Margerita pizza real soon! ;) Xoxo Mannou
