Maj-britt cardigan
It's time I finally showed my latest F.O (finished object) on here. My beautiful Maj-Britt cardigan! The pattern is by Anna Bauer. The yarn is Järbo 2 tr wool in the colourways Summer Sun, Mauve Rose, Plump Plum, Tree Hugger, Natural White and Tree Hugger. I started knitting it on January 1st and finished it on September 1st. I took a couple of breaks here and there which is why it took so long to finish. There were a lot of intimidating firsts on this cardigan. Colourwork, that type of increase over the shoulders and the scariest - steeking Let me tell you. Taking a pair of scissors to something you've spent that much time, love and money on was scary. But in the end it worked out and I learned several new things while working on this project. I am super proud of it. There are of course a couple of things I would have changed if I could. There are about a million little mistakes in the colourwork and I didn't realise that I did the button bands wrong until it was too late. And someday, someday I'll cover the steeks with a pretty band, but that'll have to wait until I find a nice enough band. But overall I love it. I lived in it this autumn and I feel super pretty in it. I am happy with the colours I chose and I'm the only one who notice the mistakes. So overall I give this a 9/10.
