WINE TASTING & CLEANING FISH ON HVAR.
Let's zip through the last of the Croatia pics, shall we? Trying to get them all in before we leave on Saturday, here we go! This day started with a hot bus trip to the little town of Jelsa (still on the island Hvar), a place we had heard good things about. We were hungry when we arrived and were happy to find a place that still served breakfast, and a GREAT one at that! Best brekkie on the trip, paws down. Jelsa was absolutely adorable, we a had a couple of to do-things on our list. Started by wandering through the town and aah-ing over purple buildings. Ooh-d over palm trees and rivers. We were determined to go for a wine tasting, as we'd been told many great things about the wine from this particular region. We found a place and were led down in to a castle looking cellar. Pretty amazing. We'd gone for a quick dip just before so my hair was still wet, but I tried my best to look respectable and ready for fancy wines. We didn't end up buying anything as we were camping and traveling with all of our things on our backs but we got to try some very nice ones and it was definitely a fun experience! Said hi to a donkey on the way back to the bus :) Before we hopped back on the bus we bought some fresh fish for dinner & some nice sunnies for my eyes, yay Fish so fresh it hadn't even been cleaned yet :O D. was put on the job. This LONG (scary!!!) guy wanted to join in :O and another guy joined when it was time to grill <3 By the time we ate it was pitch black, very hard to see what was what, haha.. Another beautiful day in gorgeous Croatia <3
