THIS WEEK I'VE....
Listened to: Trying to get in to spring mode with my latest playlist, full of French 60s and light indie pop. Now if only the rain would stop too please... Podcast wise I've devoured S-town. It starts out with an eccentric guy contacting a journalist to investigate what he thinks was a covered up murder. The story changes throughout the 7 episodes, it ends up being more about the man who called in and who he was. Very gripping and more-ish. The journalist has a really nice, soothing voice too. Played: Not much at all actually, but I did recently get hooked on the game Backpacker. You travel to different cities all across the globe, answer questions on the city & country to make money, apply for different jobs to get diplomas etc. A fun quiz game! Read: This very light, fun read. Sort of a rom-com in book format. An entertaining, quick read - would happily read more by her (apparently pronounced Vah-ree!). Watched: Netflix's miniseries Waco. Holy crap what a story. I didn't know much about it at all, only that it was some sort of cult and possibly a mass suicide at the end? Watched almost all the eps in one sitting, saved the last one until last night. Pretty much bawled my eyes out. A heavy, dark story. Having said that - watch it!!! (and be ready with tissues and something light and fluffy to watch afterwards) Felt: A bit like this little guy. Whenever I think that I've gotten rid of this cold I have a sleepless night then I feel like crap again the next day - today included. It's grey and rainy outside today, all I want to do is crawl back in under the covers but I need to gather my strength to go pick up kids from school. Wish me luck!
