SWIM IN THE CANAL, SUNSHINE & THAI.
Yesterday mumma bear and I started the day at the swimming pool in the Bassin de la villette! Amazing super-tip if you're in Paris in the heat. We were extremely content :) After a few lengths we headed over to the opposite side for chill by the water. With book and homemade sandwich, of course :)The book is SO EXCITING, can't seem to put it down. You know the kind of book that keeps you up for way too long at night because you just HAVE to read "only one more chapter"... hehe. After "just one more chapter" it was time for a coffee break, back across the bassin and in to the Pavillon des Canaux! It's so cozy in there <3 and good coffee too. Going back very soon, promise. When we came back home we turned on the TV to check out the final stretch of Tour de France and mom said "Do you want to cut my hair? No one else dares to". "OK!" I said and got the only pair of scissors we have :))) And look how good it came out!!!! Maybe I need to open an at home salon??? hehe I celebrated with putting my own, way too long hair up under a scarf. And premiered my new shoes!!! Beautiful black suede from a vintage shop in Montmartre. I. LOVE. THEM. Here they are, out on their very first adventure with me. We were off to get Thai food on the canal :) this little hole in the wall has some pretty amazeballs stuff. Like chicken satay skewers and spicy veggie curry for example! To be eaten au bord du canal, of course. The only spelling to get Frenchies to pronounce my name right, hehe. After Thai food-coma we rolled home, watched Tour de Pharmacy (felt fitting for the day) followed by a nail biting episode Poirot. Excellent day if I don't say so myself!
