SUMMER IN THE CITY.

Come along on a weekend in the sauna-like city!! On Friday "my" family left for their holiday (10 days in Greece, I'm just a tad jealous), I invited Kat over for our first proper catch up in a week :OOOO We had salt & vinegar-chips & beers, followed by an Asian spread (Vietnamese spring rolls & fried rice) in front of Kung Fu Panda <3 the night ended in 90s dance party (which it often does with us). Good Friday!  On Saturday I met up with Kat again (<3) for picnic in style!  We were at Parc de la Villette early (with fold up chairs, for ultimate comfort), it was time for outdoor cinema again!!! One of my favourite things to do in Paris during summer. They were showing The Jungle Book and we were super pumped. Until it started and it was the French dubbed version :(((( stubbornly sat through it anyway, not happy at all unfortunately.  Sunday! Time for my other favourite thing to do in Paris! Street Market! Hooray!  This time at a place called Les Grands Voisins, a place I would happily re-visit! They seem to have all kinds of events and fun stuff going on, definitely a place to keep my eye on.  D. was there :))  And Kat :))  And myself :)))  On this particular day there was a swing band playing!  We cheered in light beer.  And sat down to watch the dancing :)  The rest of our Sunday was spent at a very quiet The Moose, then watched a horror movie at home before bedtime. A very, very good weekend all in all.  This upcoming week is off from work but still full of fun stuff, a music quiz, a gig, a visit. And trying not to melt away completely. Phew.
