PLANTS, PLATES AND PUG LOVE.
The past few nights I've been sleeping with this little ball of fluffy love on my head. Warm, but the cosiest thing in the world. I've been admiring all of my planties who are absolutely thriving in the summer sun! Especially this avocado who is almost toppling over it's so high! Not really sure how to stabilise it, any tips are welcome...!! They're all sprouting new leaves, pretty much every day it feels like, the other day Neil had a baby đŁ Yesterday it was mumma bears birthday! Leo celebrated like it was 1961 đș And I celebrated with a new plant... hehe oops. It's a Bougainvillea, something I've been dreaming about adding to the collection for ages, and it was on sale! Obviously a no brainer. Leo and I guarded it outside of Carrefour while D. went in to buy things for fish & chips! Mmmm. Which bring me to my other favourite thing in the world: food! Had a real Swedish breakfast the other day: toast with Swedish cheese (thanks to Kat who went to Ikea the other day â€â€â€), cucumber and Kalles Kaviar (fish roe paste, mmm), paired with a soft boiled egg and coffee with fluffy oatmilk. Delish. This guy was confused as to why he wasn't involved in the eating in bed. The other night, after I'd spent a moment panicking about unnecessary stuff, D. surprised me with dinner at our favourite Indian restaurant â€I thought we were just going for a dog walk and picking something up at the supermarket, but he had a sneaky plan.. We started with fried paneer, followed by plate after plate of delicious treats. Best Indian in Paris right here. Leo got a bowl of water and stayed close, in case anything fun happened to drop down. Now I need to start prepping a pasta salad, first open air cinema of the year tonight, can't wait!
