PICNIC PREMIERE.

Last night after work, for the first time this year, Linda and I went down to the canal for a picnic!! IT'S BEGUN GUYS. We got boxed white wine and takeaway from a Lebanese place around the corner called Le Phénicien, absolutely delicious!! I got a halloumi wrap and a super tasty falafel ball on the side. Their prices are great, the guys who work there are really friendly (we got little cups of sweet mint tea while waiting, love those sorts of details) and the food is just delish. Will definitely be getting takeaways for canal picnics from there again.  We sat there until it got too chilly (and until I really needed the toilet), then headed up to mine for a nightcap. Such a luxury living two minutes away from the canal! And a luxury having a friend like Linda whom I feel I can talk to about anything and everything. ❤ Today I'm hanging out in someone elses living room, until I pop off to pick up the kids.
