MYLES KENNEDY @ CABARET SAUVAGE.
I've always wanted to go to this concert venue, but never had a good excuse - until now! My fave Mr Myles Kennedy was touring with his first solo album and was coming through Paris. Need I say I pounced on the tickets? The whole venue looks like an old circus tent, all in deep red velvet. Mmmm. Absolutely gorgeous it was, I was slightly surprised that there were just a bunch of seats though! Can't remember last time I went to a gig where people were expected to sit down? :O This guy started the evening - doesn't he look eerily similar to Hyde from That 70s show??? Downside to sitting inside of a velvet tent when it's 36 degrees outside: total heatstroke. We ordered lots of cold beer and took turns with my little fan. Still absolutely dripping. Still worth it of course, because MYLES <3 He played a mix of old and new, new solo stuff, old Alter Bridge & Slash-stuff. I almost shed a little tear when he played Starlight, missed Carolina extra much in that moment <3 We have matching tattoos with a line from that song, "You'll never shine alone" they say. Carro, I miss you <3 <3 <3 By the encore I had weaseled myself out of our booth and right up to the stage, hehehe. Thanks for a hot but great night Mr Kennedy, can't wait for the next Slash & conspirators-album to come out!!!
