HALFWAY THROUGH FEBRUARY.

Just like January felt never ending, February seems to be running past!! Am I right?  In February I started baking! I was so happy when I finally found fresh yeast in a little shop, been excitedly watching dough rise :)))  I've made simple little breakfast buns.  And focaccia!  Mmmmm focaccia.  Duncan has kept working on his veggie burger, I love being the guinea pig in this project of his :)))  I made a big batch of my tomato sauce over the weekend, perfect when you come back from work in the evening and can just put on some pasta and be done with!  This popped up in the metro the other day, in July Kat and I will be there in the front row with Fred 😄 The sun has been peeking out lately, today it's 12 degrees out..! Dare I wish for an early spring??? 🤞🤞🤞 Been looking after my planties as usual, the avocados especially are looking fab ✨ Yesterday it was Wednesday and I spent the morning with "my" 2 year old. There was morning frost on the grass, so pretty.  Spotted pink cherry blossom 😍  When we got to Monceau they had closed off the playground for unclear reasons. There was just red and white striped tape all over the entrances, with no explanation. Bit of a disappointment at first but I decided that we'd just walk around the park instead, little one seemed surprisingly happy about this unusual little adventure :) We found twigs, looked at statues, stopped to look at every bush. Fun times.  I have a few favourite trees in Monceau, this is one of them. It's magical when it's all green, feels like walking through a bit of a fairy tale. Beautiful like this too.  A couple of hours later I was with my girls instead, at school. Was beginning to wilt a little bit here, it already felt like it had been a long day.  I'd brought homemade brownies for the kids and I, definitely picked me up :)))  I always look through the books for sale at the Swedish church (it's connected to the Swedish school), yesterday I found this old gem 😍 I loved it when I was little and haven't read it since, a spooky story that I honestly don't remember much from. Looking forward to reading it again.  When I got up today, this was waiting for me on the table! I wasn't expecting anything at all for Valentines day, made me so happy ❤ Duncan went down to pick up a couple of things for breakfast and came up with these..! Again, was completely unexpected and so sweet. My valentine ❤ Breakfast with roses and salmon, avocado & poached eggs, pretty good way to start the day!  Last happy surprise of the day (?), one of my cuttings is growing roots!! I thought it'd be too cold, but this little fighter is intent on growing. Love it. Half of February gone guys, before we know it it'll be time for picnics in the park again!!!
