CAKE & MUSIC.
Saturday day was mostly spent with project baking! I followed a recipe as I'm not yet a master baker who can just stir something amazing together, but that's ok. I'll get there someday! As our kitchen is tiny and our oven is just a little toaster one, this took a LONG time. But I kept myself busy and the whole apartment smelled amazing! I didn't make one layer, I didn't make two layers, I made three. Phew! The frosting was probably the toughest part, a lot of work goes in to it when you don't have an electric handmixer. Might be putting that on my wishlist... After a few hours I had managed to put together some sort of chocolate monster, I crossed my fingers and hoped it tasted good! After this I changed in to a little black dress and we were off to... Johan's! Where Linda and Thomas were playing! We sat at the bar and cheered them on. Behind the bar was Kat who had jumped in for a shift. Hi Kat :)))) The reason for the chocolate cake: it was Thomas's birthday!! Here it is: my three tiered chocolate monster of a cake đ It was pretty damn delicious if I may say so myself!! Great night of music, cake and friends. Sunday was spent cooking up a nibble storm and eating it in bed in front of The Dirt with Kat, this weekend gets all trotters up đ·
