CAFE DE L'INDUSTRIE AND THE BIG TEMPETE.
Last Sunday mumma bear was still in town ❤ It was windy to the point of little parks being closed off due to tempete ( : storm), a bit exaggerated we thought... but it was definitely windy. We wandered along the canal and up towards Bastille. Mum and D. stopped to look at something interesting while I photographed their accidental identical poses. Cute. The market was on at Boulevard Richard Lenoir, I think it's on every weekend? Nice, either way. We found a cute alley to snap some pics in. Mumma looked cool in her movie star-sunglasses while I went for the more squinty look. Wait for it.... ...... 😆 When the rain started spitting on us it was time to find a lunch spot, quickly! We ended up at Café de l'industrie, which I was excited about! It's one of those places that I've been meaning to go to for ages, it was finally time to see if it would live up to my expectations. Guess what? It did! So much food for not much money, and it was delicious! I had the carpaccio with potato gratin, there was so much of it that it came out on two separate plates 😃 Tartine (I think I'd translate it to toast, basically bread with some form of spread on top) for mum and D, marinated peppers and buffalo mozzarella for Duncan. Smoked salmon and cream cheese for mum. We were all extremely happy with this :))) cool interior too, and friendly staff. All trotters up! After lunch D. jumped on the metro and mum and I walked back home, in the spitting rain. Later Kat and Linda came over for wine, then mumma and I had dinner & watched the latest Johnny English movie. On Monday she went back to Sweden :( A perfect weekend together. ❤
