A SUMMERS DAY IN STOCKHOLM.

Last night this tired but excited one was sitting at Orly, waiting to board a delayed flight.  We only ended up being about 40 minutes late, which was nice (since we weren't meant to land until midnight anyway). Left a rainy Paris behind. Au revoir Paris, see you in ten days!  Asked to sit by a window, as usual. Watched the sun set over the clouds <3  Today I woke up in my old room, with my bestie Egon next to me <3  It's SUPER summery in Stockholm at the moment, so after breakfast mom and put our bathing suits on, grabbed the dogs and headed down to the lake!  I wore my new 50s style, sweetheart neckline, cherryprinted bathing suit, I <3 <3 <3 it. Had a light blue bikini with strawberries on it years and years ago, wore it until it fell apart. This reminds me of that one.  It took its premiere dip in beautiful Brunnsviken!  When we got back home mom served up the most Swedish & summery thing I can think of: matjessill (a kind of herring) with fresh little baby potatoes, butter, sour cream & chives. Perfect for a summers day like today!  Then we went out to cheer on the people running Stockholm Marathon today (in this HEAT) but realised that they've changed the course completely so we didn't see a single runner. What do we do? Well, buy ice cream instead of course?? :D  Back home now, chilling on the balcony. Soon it's time for cold peronis & snacks before dinner followed by a night out.
