A STROLL THROUGH MONTMARTRE.

This week Duncan's friend Pete is visiting from New Zealand! I met up with them after work last night for a stroll in Montmartre.  We took the classic route up to the basilica. Beautiful if you manage to ignore all the people shamelessly trying to sell you cheap crap (let's be honest) and pick your pockets while at it.  I like wandering along the sides and back of Sacre Coeur, just as beautiful with only a fraction of the crowds.  It's funny, when I take certain photos I immediately start looking forward to editing them. Like this one for example, I saw it on the street and couldn't wait to get home to brighten up that beautiful limey green colour.  If I ever had a shop or café of some kind I would absolutely paint it in some bright, pastel-y colour, so pretty!  After about an hour of wandering around, ooh-ing and aah-ing, we ended up at a little restaurant by Abbesses. Don't remember the name as I wasn't very impressed unfortunately.. but they had this cool poster at least ;) Now Pete is out on new Parisian adventures, Duncan is still snoring next to me and I'm drinking the first coffee of the day and am about to start putting together a packing list! Happy Tuesday guys!
