June, please be good.

June, the first month of summer has just started and oh how I have missed summer. The weather tho… Here in London it’s boiling warm one day and the next day (like yesterday) its storm and the rain is pouring day. Fingers crossed we get a beautiful and warm summer with a lot of sun. For me the main focus for June will be work. In July and August things always slow down so its best to push it in June when most people are still at work. I thought we should look at some highlights for this month.  Stockholm: I haven’t planned any holiday yet, that will have to wait a bit longer. Which is totally fine since the summer has just started but I miss Stockholm and in June I will definitely decide when I’m going there next. If I’m not coming in June already!? Who knows :D I want to go back and see all my friends and family. Midsummer: I just love Swedish midsummer and have actually celebrated it in London each year since I moved here. I remember that last year I said I was definitely celebrating in Sweden this year hehe. It’s not happening… Maybe next year? In London, we celebrate the 24th on Saturday since everyone is working here on the actual day of midsummer. If the weather is good Hyde Park is the place to be. Thousands of Swedes gather there each year, to have a picnic, play games and dance around the midsummer pole. It’s so much fun! The weather can be so unreliable so a plan B is necessary, which we have. I’m so looking forward to that day!  Changes: Some big changes in life is gonna happen in June, which I tell you more about later. It will take some energy and also a lot of time this month but in the end it’s all for the best and I’m a bit excited. And: Of course all those rooftop brunches I have planned in (I’m a sucker for rooftops!), the new city beach in Fulham I want to visit and hopefully a mini getaway. June I’m ready for yah!
