Edinburgh's Best Restaurant - Castle Terrace

Babes, I realised I have totally forgotten to tell you about one of my better dining experiences that I had in Edinburgh a few week ago. As you know I was there over the weekend to continue celebrating my bday a little bit. On Saturday night dinner was booked at Michelin star restaurant Castle Terrace that's located in old town.  Castle Terrace offering luxury fine cuisine in relaxed surroundings and they make Modern British dishes with French techniques. As soon as I came in I just loved the place, the warm welcome from the staff, the details with hand-printed wallpaper and the ambience, the feeling of the room is warm and comfortable. This was truly one of my better culinary dining experiences. The service was impeccable (the waiter madam laugh several times) and the level of cooking is so high and also innovative. Castle Terrace food philosophy is "from nature to the plate”.  Castle Terrace - I have never meet better, warmer and more professional staff in my life. You really saw and felt that they liked their job! Thumbs up  to everyone who works there, first time I left a place and though "I need to write a stellar review about them".  Left: Some small aperitifs || Right: A smooth and super yummy soup! Left: Salmon Tartare of Shetland salmon served sushi style || Right: Asparagus and I can't remember what more was in that dish...  Both dishes was unbelievable good! The salmon tartar had a great twist of favours.    This was my main dish and OMG it's was out of this word. The image doesn't justify the taste at all. Roasted tail of North Sea monkfish served with peas à la Française and white and green asparagus. The monkfish was perfectly tender and juicy and the flavour together was just perfect! Dessert: This was DELICIOUS! Without dairy, gluten and sugar. It is so rare that a restaurant an after for my need when it comes to their dessert menu. On the other hand you'll expect that from a michelin star restaurant. Anyway, I was so impressed, it tasted like a bit of heaven. It had a fluffy texture, a taste of caramel and melted in my mouth. I so wish I remember what it was is all different dishes. Address:33-35 Castle Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2EL
