EDINBURGH CASTLE
On Saturday after a lovely wine lunch at Fishers In The City it was time to be a bit cultural. So what better place to see in Edinburgh then the Castle? It dominates the skyline of the city and was a royal residence until 1633. It’s clearly their most visited tourist attraction and although it was fun to see and get to learn about Edinburghs history 1.5h there was enough. They have the smallest little wedding chapter their which was pretty cute and anyone can apparently get married there, but you need to have a tiny wedding since only 25 people fit in the room. It was a great view from the castle and you could see the whole city in from of you. I quickly realised how small Edinburgh is, you can walk everywhere! The sun was shining so after a cultural hour it was time to go to the next stop: a outdoor seating restaurant for a drink and to enjoy the sunshine.
