Queen Letizia of Spain Wears the Royal Version of a Bodycon Dress
While bodycon dresses are generally reserved for a night on the town, the ever stylish Queen Letizia knew just how to transform the look into a chic ensemble for one of her public appearances this week. As the Queen of Spain headed to the National Culture Awards Wednesday in Palencia, Spain, she stunned in a fitted, panelled, magenta one shoulder prom dresses by Spanish designer Felipe Varela. It was a number that echoed the style of a bodycon dress, but had a more refined take with its longer length, tiered panels, and three-quarter sleeves. To complete the look, the royal sported textured pumps and carried an ostrich MBU clutch. As Queen Letizia headed inside the San Antolin Cathedral, she was all smiles, and stood next to her husband, King Felipe VI, during the event. The queen, who is known to take fashion risks (that pay off), sported a faux croc structured suit Monday as she celebrated the opening of a Hieronymus Bosch exhibition at the Prado Museum. Prior to that, she rocked a pair of cropped,wide-legged culottes paired with a bold red blazer. While royal fashions can often be buttoned up, It's clear Queen Letizia has no qualms about expressing herself through her clothing ... and we're captivated by each of her stellar style moments.
