Thursday, moving your body in a way that you love & porridge
Hey darlings, how're you feeling today? I got out of bed with W today and went for a long walk as the sun rised, it was nice to get outside and slowly wake up my body. Since I was sick last week and didn't exercise I'm trying to ease myself back into it and yesterday I did a 5.5k happy pace run just feeling my body and my mood. I also feel like I need to go back to basics a bit with my training. For a while now I've struggled with motivation but while I was running the other day I finally felt that feeling that I love so much, the feeling of happiness spreading throughout my body with every step. That reminded my of how important it really is to be physically active in the ways that YOU love and not to things just because others are doing them. For me that means more running, lots of yoga and fun strength circuits focusing on getting my heart rate up, my muscles working and building strength for everyday life. It's so so important to find something that YOU enjoy when it comes to exercise. Being active is not supposed to be a chore, it's supposed to be a fun part of your life that you do for yourself and your own wellbeing!Now I'm gonna eat my porridge before it goes cold and then head to uni, hope you have a nice day ♥ My current breakfast obsession: oat porridge with banana, pumpkin seeds, some coconut and natural apple sauce (basically just made from apples). I always used to have apple sauce as a kid in Sweden and I was SO happy when I found it on the shelf at my local grocer the other day haha!
