The practice of self love
After a long day and week filled with ups and downs I'm in need of some serious self love. I truly believe that we all have the potential to become the best that we can possible be, but only if we give ourselves the time to do so and trust in ourselves. I think it is important to practice self love in order to understand your own worth and to remind yourself about how amazing you are... My fav ways of treating myself and practicing self love are...♥ Taking a long shower followed by a face mask with my fav relaxing music in the background and lots of candles burning. ♥ Taking a moment to think about what I'm thankful for and writing it down in my notebook. Showing gratitude works wonders on my mental state and how I look at life and myself. ♥ Going for a long walk and breathing the fresh air. ♥ Making a big cup of tea and cuddling up in bed infront of a happy movie.
