Spring clean out
pictures It's officially spring here in Australia - the days are getting longer, the air is getting warmer and the butterflies are starting to wake up inside my body. I truly am a person who lives by the sun and naturally spring is my favourite season of all. Just like that my body clock goes back to waking me up at 6 o'clock in the morning and I bounce out of bed (on most days haha!) ready to take on the day. Going into a new season I like to set some intentions for myself. My intentions can be everything from personal goals to things I want to achieve or ways in which I want to develop different parts of my life. This spring and summer I want to... ♥ Move my body a lot and put focus on the forms of exercise that I love. I want to develop my running and have fun in the gym again! ♥ Make a conscious effort to include meditation and yoga more in my daily life. This has been a mission throughout this whole year and it's something I work on constantly simply because I know how much better it makes me feel. ♥ Dedicate time each week towards self love and taking care of myself. ♥ Explore new vegetarian and vegan recipes and spend lots of time in the kitchen cooking up amazing green dinners for the ones I love. The kitchen is one of those places where I feel peaceful and content. I just love creating new healthy and delicious recipes - it's like therapy for me. ♥ Start searching for a placement in preparation for next year that truly resonates with my future career goals as well as my visions and beliefs. ♥ Spend more quality time alone with my partner. When you see someone everyday (and often together with friends on the weekend) it is easy to forget how magical it is to go for a weekend away together or have a nice dinner and share a bottle of red while you talk about everything and nothing on a Saturday night.
