My top five healthy habits
Sisters, today we’re gonna talk about a couple of things that have literally changed my life. And what might that be you wonder? Well, its pretty simple. It’s my top five healthy habits (or rituals if you'd like) that help me stay on track and feel good, both physically and mentally. I don’t know about you but for me, feeling my best is often about the small things rather than the big ones. I generally feel my best when I have my routines in order and have time to take care of myself! So, moving on to my five absolute favourite healthy habits...♥ Set a mission for the day, week, month... Whether that's to relax and do nothing on a Sunday or tick of 10 different things from the to-do list on a Wednesday doesn't matter. Knowing what's happening in my life and having a plan always helps keeping me on track and gives me more time for myself, those I love and staying active! ♥ Drink lots of water. I know everyone says this all the time but I can't stress enough how important it is! It helps keeping you hydrated, happy and on the go. ♥ Be positive and mindful. This is something that's literally changed my life! Realise that everything you do and think throughout the day is up to you. You choose whether you want to be positive and put your ego aside. My attitude is literally everything and also something that ONLY I can change. We can't be happy all the time but we can do our best with what we have, and that makes all the difference! So next time you notice yourself being negative try and think about whether there's anything you can do to change the situation or your way of thinking about it!♥ Eat your greens. Eat all the vegetables and fruits you can. Everyday I try and incorporate as many greens and fruits as possible in my diet. There's simply nothing that makes me feel better than a smoothie packed with nutrients, a big bowl of salad or lots of roasted veggies. ♥ Move your body. Look, I know this one can be a bit daunting but staying active doesn't have to be hard! Rather it's about the small things like going for a walk during your lunch break, switching out your sitting coffee date for a walking one or taking mini breaks throughout the day. Exercising is important but being physically active is more important, something people sometimes tend to forget. Try to make moving your body a daily habit. Side note: I have finally upgraded my computer which means no more Swedish keyboard which also means that everything from now on will be in English. Kinda exciting (and more natural for me) if you ask me!
